 |
4-H Horse Show
The 4-H Horse Show will begin on August 5th at 4:00 at the Fairgrounds. The 4-Hers have participated in two previous playdays this year, not to mention many hours of practice as clubs and as individuals. A written test will be given to the 4-Hers that consists of questions on horse anatomy, care, equipment, and horsemanship. The competition consists of six main events: showmanship, horsemanship, trail, quadrangle barrel race, pole bending and barrels. Each 4-Her is awarded for his or her achievement, and points are calculated from previous show to determine the 15 finalists who will represent Carbon County at the State 4-H Horse Competition.
