The Desert Wings Radio Control Club will be hosting a Fun Fly and R/C Air Show on Saturday, August 9th and Sunday, August 10th in conjunction with the Carbon County Fair. A wide variety of aircraft will be on display and flown each day by local club members and pilots from throughout Utah and adjoining areas. Aircraft will include everything from small trainers to giant scale, as well as helicopters and possibly jets. The Rocky Mountain Aerobatics Team will fly each day, and there will be a helicopter demonstration.

Interested individuals are invited to talk to the local club members about R/C flying and how the aircraft are built and controlled, as well as how easy it is to get started. Great food and refreshments will be available, so come on out and enjoy the fantastic sport of R/C flying.

The flying field is located just west of the fairgrounds entrance from Fairgrounds Road. Flying will begin at 8:30 a.m. and continue throughout the day depending on weather conditions.
