The Bar-K-Wranglers

Sit back, relax, and get ready for a hand clappin', foot stompin', all around great Western Music show, "in the tradition of the real American cowboy"! Our western evening is complete with all time favorite songs such as Cool Water, Tumbling Tumbleweeds, and Ghost Riders In the Sky. Our sixty to ninety minute performance also includes some favorite cowboy poetry, tall tales and all around cowboy style humor.

The Bark-K-Wranglers have been performing and serving up our "Cowboy" Supper & "Western Music Show" in one form or another, for more than ten years now. Our Western music group has performed at several places her in Utah. We started playing for special occasions such as church dinners, company parties, and Fourth of July celebrations. During our first year of existence a long range idea was set in motion, that idea, of preserving and offering affordable family entertainment combined with great tasting food and friendly atmosphere all based on the western yesteryear theme, is still the driving force behind the Bar-K-Wranglers.

The group has had to take one step at a time. The first step taken was the renovation of an old barn hayloft near Park City, for our supper show performances. Almost two years later, we moved out of Park City and returned to our Hometown of Kamas, Utah. In Kamas, several groups of people, in numbers up to three hundred at a time, were entertained in a large cultural hall. During the Christmas season of 1995, a state parks group was entertained by the Bar-K, and afterward asked if the Wranglers would consider moving to the Old Desert Village in Salt Lake City. So, in July of 1996, the Bar-K-Wranglers opened performances at the Huntsman Hotel in the "This Is The Place" state park. Then, after a successful and crowded engagement in Salt Lake City, we moved to Thanksgiving Point, near Lehi, Utah. We stayed in Lehi for several months before once again moving on. The group is now in a transition period awaiting a new place to call home. We still perform at private gatherings and special occasions such as fairs, parties, and etc.

The current band members consist of the following:
Tony DiStefano, lead vocals, stand-up bass;
Ron Lee, baritone vocals, guitar, harmonica, mandolin;
June Crosby, fiddle;
George Wilkes, tenor vocals, lead guitar;
Steve Taylor, sound.

Tony and Steve have been a part of the Bar-K since the beginning. Ron joined shortly after things got rolling. June has been a part of the group for 5 plus years now, and George is the latest addition to the group.

Performing Saturday, August 9 at 5:00 pm FREE!
