Carbon County Fair Rodeo

          Welcome to the Seventh annual Carbon County Rodeo to be held in conjunction with the County Fair.  The chair for this year's rodeo is Kyle Edward, who has many hours on the rodeo circuit, riding, judging, and being involved in all aspects of rodeo.

            The Carbon County Rodeo will be held August 13 -14  in conjunction with the County Fair.  On Friday and Saturday Night, the performance will start with pre-rodeo 7:00 p.m. and the Grand Entry at 7:30 p.m.  Slack will be held Friday night after the performance. 

            Jr. Barrels will begin at 6:30 p.m. each night for youth wanting to compete.  Registration will begin at 6:00.  A fee of $5 will be charged per participate with all the monies going into the pot for top placings.

            Jr. bull riding will be an added attraction to the rodeo.  For more information and entry, contact Kyle at 637-2215 before August 6.  No late entries will be accepted.

            The rodeo is sanctioned by the Western States Association and the stock producer is Clegg Championship Rodeo owned and operated by Danny Clegg from Coalville, Utah..   

             Cost for the rodeo is $5.00 adults, $3.00 for Senior Citizens and 7-12 years olds,  and 6 and under are free. 

             All rodeo contestants must call Georgia at 435-336-2563 for an entry on Monday, August 9th, between 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Call backs are Tuesday, August 10 between 4:00 - 8:00  p.m. at 435-336-2563.  Entry fees are $40 per event and must be paid in cash.
