Will be held on Saturday August 6, 2005
a new Miss Carbon County will be crowned at the Price Civic
Auditorium. This year the program will also include the
crowning of the Miss Carbon County Little Miss and the Miss
Carbon County outstanding teen. The program starts at 6:30
P.M. beginning with the Little Miss competition.
The Miss Carbon County scholarship
pageant is a non-profit organization that belongs to the
Miss America organization. Each Miss Carbon County
contestant chooses a platform in which they can do service
and make a difference in Carbon County. They also compete in
talent, evening wear, lifestyle and fitness, interview and
casual wear. The outstanding teens compete in an essay
competition written about their platform. The winner will
compete in a year in the Miss Outstanding Teen of Utah
competition in talent, interview and evening wear. The
little Miss competition consists of talent and fitness
wear. There is an entrance fee of $25.00 for the little
miss competition and the outstanding teen.
Ages for the competitions are: 6-11 for
Little Miss 13-16 for Outstanding
teen and 17-24 for Miss Carbon County.
