Easy hike, big payoff
Gordon Creek Falls is a 2.2 mile, out-and-back trail located near Helper that features lower and upper falls.
For those looking for a longer adventure, continue down the trail to discover an old historic cabin (6.4 miles round trip).
This lightly-trafficked trail is good for all skill levels, with the lower falls being approximately 1.1 miles from the Trestle Road trailhead. From the lower falls, the upper falls are located approximately 1.5 miles further along the trail.
Though the trail is primarily used for hiking, you can also mountain bike, ride ATVs and horses to the falls.

A great way to learn more about all there is to see and experience on this fun hike!
From Price, head out of town on Consumer’s Road. Follow that road for 2.8 miles until you come to an unmarked road on the left (south). Continue on the dirt road another 3.4 miles to the trailhead. There is a sign and small parking area for Gordon Creek Trail on the right.
