Filming In

Carbon County

As a Film Ready Community, Carbon County welcomes you!  Filming in communities throughout Carbon County dates back many years and the interest for film continues to grow. Films such as Rigoletto, Adventures of Power, and the Wayshower to name a few have been filmed here.

Most recently, Helper has been a desired hotspot for tv series such as Ghost Adventures and Ride with Norman Reedus. Carbon County is so diverse in landscaping that it is very desirable for filming.

We understand that every film event is unique and we are here to work with you through the process. The more information we have about your film, the better we can assist you and your requests.

Please complete a Filming Request Application to include a detailed map of the locations requested for filming. All applications will be reviewed and a request for more information may be required for final approval. A list of county and city contacts are listed below.

Please submit your application at least 10 days prior to your filming event.
