2026 Election Key Dates
February 15 Last day to submit statewide initiative packets
March 13 Last day local candidate signature packets can be turned in
March 17 Republican Party Caucus - Check in 6pm at Carbon High School
March 19 Meet the Candidates - 6pm at Mont Harmon Middle School
March 28 Republican Party Convention - 4pm in the Jennifer Leavitt student center at USU Eastern
April 1 Last day to change parties
June 2 - 16 First and Last day to mail ballots to active registered voters
June 9 L&A Testing 10:00 a.m.
June 12 Last day to register to vote in person, online or by mail. Voter can still register up to election day and vote provisionally.
June 16 - 19 Early Voting - Admin Bldg 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Friday.
June 16 First Financial Disclosures due to County Clerk (7 days before).
June 23 PRIMARY ELECTION DAY 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Ballots received by mail must be in the clerk’s office by 8:00 p.m. this day. (Post marked the day of the election are no longer allowed) UOCAVA ballots are due at the same time. Emailed ballots by 12:01 a.m. local time.
June 30 Last day to provide proof of ID or residency on provisional ballots.
June 30 Primary Election Audit 10:00 a.m.
July 1 - 15 First and last day Judges can declare candidacy
July 1 Primary Election Canvass 10:00 a.m.
